With soothing lemon balm extract, calming chamomile, and lavender to heal unhappy scalps, Geranium & Ylang-Ylang Shampoo uses a blend of gorgeous natural ingredients.

Formulated for ‘normal’ hair, this shampoo will gently cleanse your hair and scalp, and leave your hair beautifully soft and shiny. Continued use will encourage and promote more luxurious and healthy hair growth.

Active ingredients:

• Mipa laureth sulphate – as mild an anionic surfactant as it gets. Unlike the similarly named (but much nastier) sodium lauryl sulphate, Mipa is produced from palm oil (ethically and sustainably sourced, obviously), which means it has a higher oil content. This makes it less drying and much kinder to hair and scalp. Because mipa laureth sulphate is biodegradable, this sulphate is also kinder to the environment as well.

• Ylang-ylang – having been used in hair preparations for centuries, the haircare properties of ylang-ylang are well-known. Ylang-ylang has a balancing effect on sebum – your skin’s natural oil – so can be helpful in cases of oily or dry skin. It also has a tonic and stimulating effect on the scalp and helps to promote healthy hair growth.

• Lemon balm – called “The Elixir of Life”, lemon balm is famed for its rejuvenating properties. Having a generally calming effect, this herb can be helpful with skin problems such as eczema. It is also helpful for greasy hair, and is said to counteract baldness.

To use:

Give the bottle a couple of good hard shakes to activate the different layers of the shampoo. Apply one to two pumps of shampoo into your palm and gently massage into wet hair, concentrating on the scalps and roots. Rinse with warm water. Repeat if necessary.
