Freyaluna products are natural and handmade. They contain no harsh chemicals or preservatives, but are packed full of Mother Nature’s gorgeous-ness to help you achieve naturally beautiful, healthy skin.

Our products are based on traditional herbal remedies to create products formulated to not only look, feel and smell good, but to do good to your skin as well. It is very important to us that each and every Freyaluna product has beneficial skincare properties!

We’re pleased to say that the feedback we get from customers shows that Freyaluna products do live up to that one fundamental requirement.

In researching the skincare market before and during the setting-up Freyaluna, Sami discovered the truth behind some of the products out there, and the ingredients that go into them.

For example, Sodium Laureth Sulphate – a popular ingredient used in foaming face washes, body washes, etc. – was developed as an industrial cleaner… And we put that on our skin?! It strips the skin of all its natural oils, drying it out, and leaving it patchy and flaking.

Sami came to realise that all those skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, sensitivity, and the like, are, in the most part, exacerbated by the products that we apply to our skin.

We promise to use nothing but the finest natural ingredients and essential oils when creating our products.

We promise to use responsibly sourced ingredients, and take into consideration the effect these ingredients have on the people and places that produce them.

SOURCING OUR INGREDIENTS

We are committed to using fairly-traded ingredients, where possible, and already source a number of our ingredients from such initiatives, these include our gorgeously-scented unrefined cocoa butter, unrefined shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, sugar, and some plant oils.

We source our beeswax and honey from British beekeepers, and our herbs (where possible) from British growers.
