As a natural skincare company, we shout about the benefits of being kind to your skin. So, of course, we also believe that we have a responsibility to be as kind as possible to our planet.
We firmly believe in keeping a ‘green’ perspective! We strive to follow an environmentally-friendly policy...
Recycling
When it comes to waste, we live by the three ‘R’s… Reduce, re-use, recycle!
We try to avoid unnecessary waste, and re-use anything we can. What we can’t re-use, we recycle!
Packaging
The packaging we use for our products is all re-usable by you (we think the kilner jars are really pretty and can be used for a multiple of things when you’ve used up all your lovely cream!). We always use glass packaging, where possible, so that the jars and bottles can be recycled. You can even send them back to us and we’ll make them all sparkly clean and ready to package a new product.
The packaging we use to pack your order is re-used packaging that we have received! The one thing we hate, here at Freyaluna, are those little polystyrene packaging pellets – some of our suppliers insist on packing our orders in them! But, instead of throwing them away, we re-use them when packing-up orders. So, if you get a Freyaluna order packed in these pellets, please know that we don’t condone their production, we are simply making the best of a bad situation by re-using them.
Delivery
To avoid extra vehicles being put on our roads, we send your order via Royal Mail. For larger orders, we will send your order by courier.
Against Animal Testing
We are 100% against animal testing, and do not test any of our products of animals (unless you count willing family and friends!). We also insist on assurances from suppliers that none of the ingredients are tested on animals, either.
We’re Veggie-Friendly
Did you know, all of Freyaluna’s scrumptious skincare products are suitable for Vegetarians!
That’s right…we don’t use any meat products, including tallow (used for soap-making), animal fats, etc.
In fact, the only animal products we use are beeswax, honey and goat’s milk, and I assure you that no animals are harmed in order to source these ingredients!
So, a lot of our products are also suitable for vegans!
